Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Professional licensure in the States of Illinois or Missouri.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Familiarity with drainage and stormwater management procedures.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and/or MicroStation.
- Ability to perform as a team player in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of commercial and residential land development projects.
- Design of stormwater management systems, storm drain systems, open channel conveyance, culvert analysis, and floodplain compensation.
- Preparation and compilation of permits and reports for approval by regulating agencies.
- Preparation of construction plans for public and private projects.
- Compile drainage calculations.
- Utilize drainage and CAD software.
- Perform other tasks involved in preliminary engineering and creation of final design plans.
- Review and seal plans.
- Assist in project management, design, and construction observation of projects.
- Participate in the permitting process for projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
