We specialize in design, planning, surveying, structural analysis, construction inspection, and environmental studies for state DOTS, tollways, municipalities, utility companies, and land development projects. We seek a dynamic CADD Technician to join our team full-time to oversee our survey operations at our West Chicago, IL office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the project manager and engineer with preparing plans, specifications, base sheets, estimates of hours, and all survey-related documents.
- Perform and oversee the design and technical calculations, material lists, construction details, drawings, and diagrams.
- Prepare complex and complete engineering designs and Survey-related drawings (Plats of Survey, ALTA/NSPS, and Topographic base sheets) using computerized drafting tools, AutoCAD or MicroStation, and examine drawings for conformity and errors.
- Review all aspects of CADD drawings, such as drawing standards, spelling, readability, and accuracy.
- Coordinate design and drafting with project managers and engineers from the outset to completion.
- Maintain proficiency in the latest relevant technologies.
- Ensure proper adherence to company standards of procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum high school diploma or associate degree with a certificate in drafting technology or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field.
- Experience working with Illinois DOTs or local agencies is an asset but not required.
- Proficiency in Microstation/Geopak, Open Road Designer, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Skilled technical reading skills.
- Strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work within set procedures and policies to ensure that privacy protocols and standard operating procedures are always followed.
- An enthusiastic and dynamic character who works well in a team setting with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
